About the photograph
I took this photo at the Portland Towers in Copenhagen. After standing there for about 20 minutes, waiting for interesting subjects to enhance the composition, I could have left, as I already had a few decent shots.
However, if street photography has taught me anything, it’s that patience is often rewarded. This time was no exception—a little boy suddenly sprinted by, transforming this shot into something far more dynamic than the others I had taken.
